Saturday the 10 December 2022 The National House of Afghan Journalists praised the work of 50 male and female journalists of various audio, video, print and Internet media in a special ceremony attended by officials and officials in recognition of the courage and impartial reporting of journalists.
Seyed Yaseen “Mateen”, a member of the leadership board of the Federation and the head of the National House of Journalists of Afghanistan, discussed the economic challenges and problems, work safety and the obstacles of informing journalists in this ceremony. Mr. Mateen also added that with the coming of the new government, a large number of media outlets have stopped operating due to economic problems and a large number of journalists are in a state of complete destitution. Honorable Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister of Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture, while appreciating the efforts of the National House of Journalists of Afghanistan, said that journalists and media are in fact the restraining force and the light of a society, who can play a positive role for the progress and development of the country, Mr. Farahi. He emphasized on removing the obstacles on the path of journalists and providing all-round support to the media and the press and added that they will arrange practical programs to solve the economic problems of journalists.
Deputy Minister of Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture of Afghanistan, also asked the media reporters to regulate and organize their activities and publications according to the teachings of Islam and the national interests of the country.
